flea.o.logy: A Flea Market with Style!

Today our Wednesday's Wanderings takes us back in time four days, but not too far afield, as the flea.o.logy flea market is actually held in the fenced yard of my historic Payson home. Above, in the front of the crowd, we see Korrie (In pink back to the camera)from Red Hen Home with her brood in front checking out the goodies at flea.o.logy. She blogged about their experience on her blog.

We had 34 different dealers, all bringing lots and lots of vintage goodness!!

My newly married cubby cupboard to the left made its first debut, though the fact that it was really priced for the Acorn antique show I am doing in Ogden in a couple of weeks mean that it is still around and ready to make the trip north.

We had so much amazing stuff.  Above is a cupboard full of vintage fun in my friend Jenn's space.
To the right is a display in Jennine's booth, she is a relatively new flea.o.logy vendor, and this was her second sale.

I adore this antique pink child's cupboard.  There were four or five children's cupboard at the sale, but this 1890's, home crafted beauty was definitely my favorite.

Above we see a red and white display from my own booth.  Most of the red goodies sold, but the cool shabby white with red dresser will be back at the next flea.o.logy.  The thing I love most about it is the very shabby paint with the old red paint peeking through.

We had lots and lots of vintage clothing and great reinvented jewelry for girls looking to create their own unique look! The dealer with the clothing in the picture above sells a ton of vintage on etsy, and has a wonderful array.

My cute granddaughter Beckie came by to support my effort.  Who could not smile with such an adorable baby around?

... and here I am with the other two flea.o.logists wearing our aprons for the first time. We each made our own, well, Jenn's mom (Yeah Sheila) made hers, in our own favorite apron styles.

The sale went well, we all had a great time, and welcomed a record breaking crowd.  Thanks to all of you who dropped by, come and see us again at the sale on July 14th.

I will be sharing my favorite (thrifty) finds at flea.o.logy tomorrow on Thrifty Thursday!

  2. Oh, I so wish I could have come! I saw so many things in your pics that I would have loved! I don't know how you find the time to be able to create so many cool things. I'm glad I have someone around here to look up to! =D Thanks for your comments on my DUP report. I always have to take some of those Little Old Ladies papers with a grain of salt.
