Gardens: Fairies and Giants!

I had a lovely walk this morning.  Because I was looking for fairy gardens at my neighbors houses I found lots of fun stuff ... just no fairy gardens ...

I want to do a post sometime next week with pictures of my friends' and neighbors' fairy gardens, so if you have one, please send me a couple of photos of it, and I will include it in my fairy garden touring blog post!  Send them to patula10@aol.com  Thanks!

Above is the make over my friend Cristie has done to her garden shed, and to the left are my morning glories that have made it to the top!  I love morning glory, how about you?
My cute neighbor RaLene, has this new bird feeder hanging from her Mulberry tree!
... and I found teeny tiny mushrooms in my own fairy garden yesterday!  How fun is that ... busy little fairies!

I love how the ground cover has these tiny blooms, they are in perfect scale for my fairies to pick!

... and I just know you were waiting for the giants ... well here they are with my friend and walking partner Ginny posing to give you an idea of how tall they are.
Reminder:  if you have a fairy garden, please share it with me .... I am loving this fun new fad!!

I am sharing this on Jann Olson's Share Your Cup Thursday.

  1. I am in love with that stripey shed...OMG! I have seen some of those precious mushrooms before...they are so tiny, like mushrooms for fairies. You can use my oil can fairy gardens if you want...even though they don't have living plants. I don't trust myself with too many living plants...I only have a pet geranium I got for Mother's Day in 2013. =D

  2. I always love seeing friends and neighbors gardens! In fact, going to garden tours has to be one of my favorite summer past times. Love the fun surprise of the mushrooms in your fairy garden Paula. I will send you a photo or two of my fairy gardens. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
