When Gardner Village Moved the Moon!

 

Look at who I met at Gardner Village in Salt Lake last month?  Yep, it's those crafty girls, Shirley and Kimi.

And when the water tower wears a witch hat, it Witch Fest time.

Loved this haunted house in the shop area of Archibald's restaurant.

Here we are all ready to order.

Then the witches came by.  Its tons of fun when the witches roam in Gardner Village. 

Just getting better acquainted.  They were so fun and funny. Kimi's thinking of applying, and no one would make a better friendly witch.

 

We took pictures for these ChatGPT portraits that Shirley does for kicks and giggles.  I'll have to do a blog post on the portraits she did of my historic (and yes haunted looking) old house.

 

Aren't they just perfect, other than being a bit too dark?

 

The illustration is a lot more fun than the actual picture.

Then it was time to walk around the village.

And just for fun, here I am 5 years ago with some of my grands as we did the village then. Did you notice they moved the MOON!  Who knew?

Halloween Crafting With Crafty Friends

Shirley had a fun idea for a Halloween framed shadow box.  How cute is her example?

Here is Kimi's cute accomplishment.

I used this old tin book shaped box instead.

And here it is opened up.

Shirley also found some coffin boxes.  Here is mine with a pumpkin headed skeleton, pumpkin head compliments of Kimi.

Lucky, lucky us.

And seeing all of Shirley's fun Halloween decor was an amazing bonus.
