The Modern Woman Makeover.

I thought this old Saturday Evening Post cover was charming, however ....

when I first saw it, it was in the cheesy chrome frame shown above.  I dug around at the antique mall and found this antique frame for $6 and it has wavy glass too!

Reframing my $2 thrift store find, into a frame of the same period as the publishing date of the magazine, just seems more natural.
Then it was fun to gather tea items in a contrasting pink and pair them with the same Frenchy blue found in the print.
This is my 'pastels' booth at the antique mall ... love the sweet cherub print to the left also.

Now as I sit here at my computer, its cold and breezy here in my old stone house and I am thinking a cup of mint tea might be just the thing ...  keep warm my friends, and thanks for dropping by.
