Puritan Place Cards

I am getting super excited for Thanksgiving, yes I am.  I am mostly excited to be actually using my antique aesthetic pattern dish collection!!  Of course there are lots of other fun things about setting a nice table, like place cards, such as the one to the right that I am using this year.  We will be just 10 this year, 12 if you count the two babies.  We will all be seated at one table and my daughter Emily is making all the pies.  YES!!

I am using my figural napkin rings, which rarely happens because I only have a dozen of them, and my formal dinners are almost always two tables worth of people!
I am also using my collection of aesthetic silverplate flatware for the first time.  I am short one butter knife, but will just use a similiar one.  It is after all a collection of various patterns in the 1880's styles I love.  I will be sharing pictures of my collection tomorrow.

I thought the cute Oreo turkeys were the perfect way to hold the place cards I made with this great Puritan Graphic I found on Graphics Fairy.

... oh and just for fun ...

Your bonus today is this sweet paper bag banner that my friend Jill has hanging in her drawing room.  Oh so fun and doesn't it look simple?  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

  3. I love your beautiful dishes. We only had 6 this year. Very unusual also. Usually we have to set three tables. The little turkeys and graphics are so cute. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
    Hugs,
