Sweet 1940's Embroidered Hot Pad Set for Someone Special

Welcome All ... to Freebie Friday for Followers!  First of all I would like to remind you that that this event is for my blog followers (and I would love you to follow!) and it is limited to those in the contiguous 48 state. (Keeping shipping costs in mind.)

Second I would like to announce the winner of last week's Blog Follower's Contest for the winning the trio of sweet small Easter plates.  I appreciated all your comments, thanks for participating.  I used the long trusted method of choosing our winner, I asked my husband to give me a number between 0 and 10 (There were 9 comments) and he said 11 .... ha ha, "try again Dear."  He choose number 3 which is Megan at Our Pinteresting Family.

Congrats Megan!

And now on to the business of the day.  The prize for this week is a charming 1950's or perhaps 1940's hot pad set.

I am pretty sure these sweet sunbonnet girls never saw a day of work in their 'lives', as they are just a bit of eye candy.  Their skirts detach, as they just snap on, and are padded embroidered hot pads.

The base has cardboard inside a muslin embroidered holder.

I am showing it with a plain background, and also with other pastel colored items, so you can see how great it would look in some sweet nook in your kitchen.

Its in good shape other than a slight stain on the left side of the holder.

To join in the fun, just make sure you are a blog follower of this blog, and leave a comment on this post.  I will do another 'scientific' drawing next Thursday evening, and will announce the winner in next Friday's post.

And once more Congrats to Megan!
