Steampunk 'n

This project was a lot of fun, sort of like the old days when you played Mr. Potato Head with real potatoes ... other than this is Mr. Pumpkin Head ... and you have to come up with all the add-ons yourself.  He has knobs for eyes, and drawer handles for ears, a light fixture support for a mouth and a pulley for his nose.  His hat is metal casing of some kind with a fan blade on top there is even a clock face in a patty pan to 'automate' our 'clockwork orange' pumpkin.

He also has rusty curls of hair that once held the coils of a set of bed springs together.  The clock face is compliments of Graphics Fairy, so thanks again Karen.

I really thought the Steampunk'n was the perfect Jack for my husband's library, and it looks like George Washington, who watched over the space, sternly approves!!

  7. So cute--love this industrial take on Mr. Potato Head. I wanted to add this to my linky party features but for some reason your photos were giving me error messages, so I pinned it instead here:
