Yep, I am working on more white details for my white booth at the mall. This time it is made over hangers.
They were pretty simple. I started by painting the old wood hangers, I had been gathering for this project, a nice soft white. This hanger got a charming Victorian head, perfect for the antique silk and tatted blouse!
I also gathered some black and white designs from Graphics Fairy (The head is also a GF graphic) to apply to the hangers.
Last of all is this hanger that I added paper lace, a newsprint rosette and a vintage rhinestone broach.
I think these hangers will add some interest to the antique clothing that I will be displaying, and since I plan to sell them, will add to the revenue I garner from this fun hobby/career as well!
Such a cute project; old hangers are really popular again--especially decorated like this they should sell quickly. Love them all!
ReplyDeleteI love the old wooden hangers - this would make a great gift for someone who collected the hangers!
ReplyDeleteThese look darling. And I agree, they do make a difference when selling antique clothes. The wood looks even more vintage. I'd buy the hangers alone!

I am satisfied with these suit hangers from Bizarkdeal, exactly what I want. They look wonderful, very nice finish. And they are perfect for hanging my overcoat without any crease on the shoulders, very sturdy. I will buy another set.
