I can not begin to tell you how fun it was for my DH and me to put together the windows for the side walls on the garden house last Saturday. It was like having one puzzle frame and the pieces from several puzzles with which to work. Still we were both pleased with how well it went together.
We even had our first meal in the space, as we stopped for lunch. Also you can see that I got the fireplace mantel painted white so that it won't get lost on the wall. 
Things left on the check list are: shingle the roof, put a side rail on the loft, hang a chandelier, and then the best part, decorate! The next time you see it, it will be complete!! I can hardly wait, and hope I can share it soon!! But for now, its off to wash all those windows!
Wow! It's wonderful! You should have an inaugural tea party...and of course it should be decorated for holidays. =D

Why throw away unused windows when you can definitely recycle and still make great use of them? I admire this garden house. The great thing I love most about it is that after all the recycled pieces come together, the whole thing looks unexpectedly good as new. Just brilliant!

Very nifty and creative! The scrapped windows turned into a bizarre wall with a very striking upshot. I suggest that you do some glass etching to make it more eye-catchy. But hey, it’s a lovely piece already! Kudos to you, Paula!

It’s beautiful! Window walls might eliminate the sense of privacy, but they also allow you to see who comes and leaves the place. And since it’s a garden house, it logically needs more natural light, which is a good mood enhancer. I think the shade of the door and roof accent make a great twist to a garden house’s standard look.

What a bright idea!! When I saw the pictures, the first thing that came up to my mind was “lots of natural light!” :D I can only imagine the vibrant ambiance inside that garden house! =)
