Recipe for a Reinvented Foot Stool!

Its been a while since I have truly reinvented, so when I saw this old drawer at an estate sale a couple of weeks ago, I thought I would try my hand at making a footstool out of it. These are the ingredients:  1. an old drawer 2. a set of old legs 3. a can of spray paint 4. a fluffy down pillow 5. a charming graphic of your choice.  Next, the legs were attached with screws through the bottom of the drawer.  The whole thing was painted white, the graphic was added using modpodge and the fluffy down filled pillow was tucked neatly into the drawer.

I loved this graphic of the mother carrying her sleeping child to bed, as the sun sets behind her.  I found it, of course, on Graphics Fairy.  I love thirties art work, and this line drawing is Art Deco art at its best!
Thanks for coming along, I hope you enjoyed this little reinvention ... Its the kind of project that makes you glad you are a saver ... the legs were the bottom half of legs cut off when a kitchen table became a coffee table, and the pillow used to be on my bed, in a previous decorating incarnation.

  2. WOW! I want a cute footstool so much, but do not feel like putting much money into it, cause I always get sick of things like that. I think I already have all the pieces for one of these. PIN WORTHY!
